Research & strategy
Ideal-client research, competitor scans, and a real growth plan — pulled together with AI trained on yoga-therapy research and marketing, not generic fluff.
My Yoga Network · A movement for working yogis
Hi, I'm Ram. I've taught yoga since 2007, run a yoga school, and written a book on the Yoga Sutras. Along the way I learned the hard part isn't the teaching — it's making a living from it. My Yoga Network is my answer: the tools, the community, and the work pipeline I needed back then, now built for all of us. Anyone who loves yoga is welcome. Yoga teachers and therapists, this was built for you.
— Ram Bhakt, Founder
Why I started this
We live in a real economy, as householders, with rent and health insurance and people who depend on us. So we have to embrace the tools it takes to make a living doing what we love — and right now, the biggest of those tools is AI.
Business isn't a dirty word. Business is taking the skills you've earned — empathy, holding space, a beginner's mind — and offering them to someone who needs them, in exchange for being able to keep doing the work. Those are the same skills that make great marketing. You already have them.
Here's the hard truth I shared on the podcast: the teachers who use these tools are going to pass by the ones who don't — the same way a website passed the business card. But yoga itself? That stays human. Healing comes through connection, not through wires. AI won't replace you. It'll just help the right people find you.
The toolkit · especially for yoga teachers
When I started, I paid freelancers and business-school interns for research, strategy, ad copy, and outreach. Today AI does that work in minutes. My Yoga Network packages it so you don't have to figure it out alone.
Ideal-client research, competitor scans, and a real growth plan — pulled together with AI trained on yoga-therapy research and marketing, not generic fluff.
SEO-ready landing pages, email and SMS sequences, lead magnets, posters and ad copy — written to sound like you, ready to ship.
We help you reach physicians, clinics, schools, hotels and HR teams — with letters, lists and follow-up built for you, so you're not knocking on doors one at a time.
Ask the network a question for free, then join the community to keep the conversation going, share tools, and meet teachers doing what you do.
Our boldest project: an opt-in study where teachers and students share Oura / Apple Watch data against the practices they do — so we can finally show what yoga does, on our own terms.
Add yourself to the teacher database. When work comes through the network — a hotel, a school, a corporate pilot — we can match it to teachers who already raised their hand.
Our strategies · the plays we're running
Each of these is a live initiative with real people leading it. Want in on one? Join the community and say so — we'll plug you in.
A community-owned study using Oura, Apple Watch and more to track biomarker changes against real practice — bypassing the gatekept Western trial model.

A teacher's story · how the network helps, in practice
Satyavathi Devi knows the exact stress your team carries, because she carried it too — years in the IT industry before she trained as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist. Today she runs The Luminine in Princeton, New Jersey: stress-relief yoga, breathwork, Yin, Yoga Nidra, chair yoga and Face Yoga, built for real, screen-heavy lives.
She's exactly who I started this for — a gifted teacher who didn't want to spend her evenings learning SEO, cold-email and CRM software just to find clients.
A way to reach the big employers around her — pharma, insurance, research — without selling "yoga classes" to skeptical HR buyers, and without a marketing team she couldn't afford.
An SEO microsite to rank for "corporate yoga New Jersey," a measured 8-week program with an HR-readable scorecard, a CRM and welcome sequence to capture leads, and a personalized outreach list for the Route 1 corridor.
She sells outcomes, not classes — "less stress, sharper focus" — backed by a before/after read any HR lead can defend. The pipeline runs while she does what she's great at: teaching.
On the podcast
I sat down with Rebecca Sebastian on her show Working in Yoga to talk about AI and tech in the yoga world — why yogis have to embrace business, how to use AI without losing the human heart of the practice, and the wearables-and-research idea that she said would keep her up at night. If you want the thinking behind this whole movement, start here.

Questions, answered
Anyone who loves yoga and wants to see it reach more people — but especially yoga teachers and yoga therapists who want to make a real living doing the work they love. If you teach, train, or want to bring yoga into clinics, schools, hotels or workplaces, this is built for you.
Yes. Joining the community as a teacher is free. You can use the chatbot, ask questions, and add yourself to the teacher database so we can match you with work. Paid programs and agency services are optional.
No. Yoga is a human connection — healing comes through people, not wires. But teachers who use AI to find clients and run their business will move faster than those who don't. This network exists to put those tools in your hands, not to replace you.
We connect teachers and therapists with demand we're already building: hotels, schools, corporate and workplace wellness, and clinical/healthcare partners — and we share the marketing, outreach and AI tools so you can build your own pipeline too.
